Responsibility depends on the selected plan and accepted scope. Some responsibilities belong to MySiteCare, some remain with the Client, and some depend on third-party providers.
Website Responsibility, Clearly Defined
MySiteCare provides operational website responsibility for businesses.
We build websites where needed, take over existing websites where practical, and keep the technical side running according to the selected plan.
This is not a marketing agency service. It is not an SEO service. It is not a business-growth guarantee.
It is website responsibility with clear scope, clear limits, and one technical point of contact where responsibility is included.
Exact inclusions, exclusions, pricing, ownership rights, and responsibilities depend on the selected plan, accepted order, quotation, invoice, written agreement, and full Terms & Conditions.
Short Version
What MySiteCare Does
MySiteCare builds or takes over business websites and, where included in the selected plan, stays responsible for keeping the technical side running.

Take over an existing website where technically practical.

Applicable dependency, theme, plugin, or component updates.
Routine technical maintenance within the agreed scope.

Reasonable preventive protections.
Integrity or issue checks appropriate to the managed website.

Updating an existing link or button.
Minor corrections to existing page content.
Major redesigns, new pages, new features, integrations, structural changes, and large content work are not included unless separately agreed.

Lead guarantees.
Sales guarantees.
Paid advertising management.

In Plain English
We handle the technical website responsibilities your plan assigns to us, so you do not have to troubleshoot those covered issues yourself.
Responsibility is clearly assigned.
If something is covered, you contact MySiteCare and we handle it.
If something is outside the selected plan, it is not automatically included.
Long Version
1. Purpose of This Page
This page explains what MySiteCare does.
It is a service-scope explainer.
It explains:
Website builds.
Website takeovers.
Hosting.
Maintenance.
Updates.
Monitoring.
Technical issue handling.
Backups.
Security and recovery boundaries.
Limited content edits.
Communication expectations.
What MySiteCare does not provide.
How responsibility is assigned.
This page is not the full contract.
The selected plan, accepted order, quotation, invoice, written agreement, and full Terms & Conditions control the actual service relationship.
2. Core Service
MySiteCare provides operational website responsibility.
That means we help businesses avoid the common problem of having a website but no clear responsible party when something needs attention.
Depending on the selected plan, MySiteCare may build the website, take over an existing website, host it, maintain it, monitor it, fix covered issues, handle small edits, and provide one technical point of contact.
The exact scope always depends on the selected plan and accepted agreement.
MySiteCare does not sell or guarantee marketing results, SEO rankings, traffic, leads, conversions, sales, revenue, or business growth.
A working website can support a business, but it does not guarantee business success.
3. Operational Website Responsibility
Operational website responsibility means technical responsibility for the covered parts of a business website.
It may include work such as:
Keeping the website hosted where hosting is included.
Applying covered system updates.
Keeping backups where backups are included.
Monitoring covered websites where monitoring is included.
Investigating covered technical issues.
Fixing covered update or system breakages.
Providing a single technical point of contact for covered issues.
It does not mean MySiteCare becomes responsible for every possible website-related event.
Responsibility is defined by the selected plan.
4. How Responsibility Is Assigned
MySiteCare does not use the word “responsibility” to mean that every website-related problem becomes MySiteCare’s obligation.
Responsibility is assigned by the selected plan, accepted order, quotation, invoice, written agreement, and full Terms & Conditions.
A matter may fall into one of three categories.
MySiteCare Responsibility
This means technical work or issue handling expressly included in the selected plan.
When an issue falls within MySiteCare’s agreed responsibility, the Client contacts MySiteCare instead of troubleshooting alone.
Client Responsibility
This includes matters the Client controls or must provide, approve, maintain, pay for, or legally comply with.
Examples may include business information, content accuracy, lawful claims, timely approvals, payments, client-owned accounts, credentials controlled by the Client, and changes made by the Client or unauthorized third parties.
Third-Party Dependency
Some matters depend on independent providers such as domain registrars, hosting infrastructure, payment processors, email providers, plugins, APIs, social platforms, search engines, analytics tools, or other services.
MySiteCare may help where the selected plan includes that help, but independent third-party failures are not automatically MySiteCare responsibility.
The key rule is simple:
Responsibility should be clear, not assumed.
5. Website Builds
Where included, MySiteCare can build a new business website.
A website build may include:
Website structure.
Core pages.
Basic business presentation.
Mobile-friendly layout.
Contact details.
Service information.
Basic technical setup.
Launch preparation.
Handover where included.
Hosting setup where included.
The exact build scope depends on the accepted order or written agreement.
A website build is not open-ended.
A website build does not automatically include unlimited revisions, unlimited pages, unlimited features, SEO results, paid advertising, business strategy, branding, content creation, or ongoing responsibility unless those items are included in the selected plan or written agreement.
6. Website Takeovers
Where technically practical, MySiteCare may take over an existing website.
A takeover may require a technical review before MySiteCare accepts responsibility.
A takeover may depend on:
Website platform.
Hosting access.
Domain or DNS access.
Admin access.
Code quality.
Plugin, theme, dependency, or framework condition.
Existing security issues.
Malware or compromise risk.
Third-party licenses.
Payment status with existing providers.
Whether the site can be safely maintained.
MySiteCare may refuse a takeover or require separate corrective work if the website is too unstable, insecure, outdated, undocumented, locked to another provider, dependent on unsupported technology, or outside the selected plan scope.
Taking over a website does not mean MySiteCare accepts responsibility for past mistakes, hidden defects, previous developer work, unpaid third-party services, old compromises, bad hosting history, or issues that existed before the takeover unless expressly agreed.
7. Hosting
Hosting is provided only where included in the selected plan or written agreement.
Where hosting is included, MySiteCare manages the hosting environment used for the website.
Hosting may involve infrastructure selected, configured, or administered by MySiteCare.
Hosting remains subject to:
The selected plan.
Payment status.
Third-party provider limits.
Technical feasibility.
Security requirements.
The full Terms & Conditions.
The accepted order or written agreement.
If hosting is suspended or terminated, the website may become unavailable.
Hosting does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Hosting also does not mean MySiteCare controls every external service connected to the website.
8. Maintenance
Maintenance is plan-dependent.
Where included, maintenance may include:
Core website-system updates.
Applicable dependency updates.
Theme updates where relevant.
Plugin updates where relevant.
Component updates where relevant.
Routine technical maintenance within the agreed scope.
Regular backups where included.
Basic checks connected to managed maintenance tasks.
Maintenance is meant to reduce avoidable technical failures.
Maintenance does not automatically include:
Continuous monitoring.
Emergency response.
Troubleshooting every issue.
Fixing every website failure.
Malware cleanup.
Major repair work.
New development.
Redesigns.
Recovery from Client-caused damage.
Responsibility for third-party outages.
Those responsibilities exist only where the selected plan expressly includes them.
9. Maintenance Is Not the Same as Responsibility
Maintenance and responsibility are different services.
Maintenance means MySiteCare performs the covered maintenance tasks included in the plan.
Responsibility means MySiteCare also takes the lead on covered technical issues that fall within the plan.
A Maintenance Only plan may include hosting, updates, and backups, but it does not automatically include monitoring, troubleshooting, fixing failures, or full technical responsibility.
A Responsibility Plan includes a stronger service relationship because the Client has one technical point of contact for covered website problems.
This distinction matters.
Maintenance keeps the website maintained.
Responsibility means covered problems become MySiteCare’s job to handle.
10. Updates
Where updates are included, MySiteCare may apply relevant updates for the website technology in use.
Depending on the website, this may involve:
Core platform updates.
CMS updates.
Theme updates.
Plugin updates.
Dependency updates.
Framework updates.
Component updates.
Security-related updates where applicable.
Not every website uses the same technology.
A custom React site, WordPress site, static site, CMS site, or other platform may require different update work.
MySiteCare will not describe theme or plugin updates as included for a website that does not use themes or plugins.
Update work is limited to the selected plan and accepted scope.
11. Post-Update Checks
Where included, MySiteCare may perform reasonable checks after managed updates.
These checks may include looking for obvious visible or functional problems connected to the update.
Post-update checks do not guarantee that every possible issue will be found immediately.
They do not replace full quality assurance, deep security testing, advanced monitoring, user testing, or business-process testing unless separately agreed.
If an update causes a covered website issue and the selected plan includes responsibility for that issue, MySiteCare will handle it within the scope of the plan.
If the issue is outside the selected scope, separate work or third-party action may be required.
12. Monitoring
Monitoring is included only where the selected plan says it is included.
Where monitoring is included, MySiteCare may monitor the covered website for uptime and relevant system issues.
Monitoring is intended to help identify covered technical problems.
Monitoring does not guarantee:
Uninterrupted website availability.
Immediate detection of every issue.
Immediate repair.
Detection of every security threat.
Detection of every third-party failure.
Detection of every content, business, SEO, or conversion issue.
Monitoring of services outside the selected plan.
Security threat monitoring, third-party platform monitoring, external service monitoring, or advanced performance monitoring is included only where expressly stated.
13. Technical Issue Handling
Under plans that include website responsibility, MySiteCare acts as the Client’s single technical point of contact for covered website issues.
This may include:
Receiving the issue report.
Checking the affected website.
Identifying whether the issue is within scope.
Investigating the likely cause.
Fixing covered update or system breakages.
Explaining what happened in plain language where practical.
Advising when a matter is outside the plan and needs separate work or third-party action.
If something within MySiteCare’s agreed responsibility breaks, and the selected plan covers it, MySiteCare takes care of it.
If the issue is outside the agreed responsibility, MySiteCare may explain the boundary and may offer separately quoted work where appropriate.
14. Covered and Non-Covered Issues
Covered issues depend on the selected plan.
A covered issue may include a website breakage caused by a managed update or covered system failure where the plan includes responsibility for that issue.
Non-covered issues may include:
Client-made changes.
Unauthorized third-party changes.
Domain registrar failures.
External hosting provider failures outside MySiteCare control.
Payment processor outages.
Email provider problems.
External API failures.
Search engine changes.
Social media platform changes.
Expired third-party licenses.
Client-uploaded malware or unsafe files.
Compromised Client credentials.
Old defects that existed before takeover.
Unsupported custom code.
New feature requests.
Major redesign requests.
SEO, traffic, leads, sales, or business outcome issues.
Legal, tax, medical, financial, regulated-industry, or compliance content problems.
Some non-covered issues may still be fixable by MySiteCare as separate paid work.
15. Security and Protection
MySiteCare may apply website-level security practices where included or where reasonably necessary for the managed website.
This may include:
Website-level security configuration.
Reasonable preventive protections.
Safe update practices.
Access control practices.
Integrity or issue checks appropriate to the managed website.
Backup management where included.
Recovery assistance for covered failures.
No website or online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
MySiteCare does not provide enterprise cybersecurity, managed security operations, forensic investigation, guaranteed malware removal, guaranteed hack prevention, or immunity from attack unless a separate written agreement specifically includes that service.
MySiteCare works to reduce and manage website-related risk within the selected plan scope.
16. Backups and Recovery
Backups are included only where the selected plan or written agreement says they are included.
Backups are a risk-reduction measure.
They are not a guarantee that every file, page, version, database entry, order, message, form submission, or item of data can always be recovered.
Backup availability may depend on:
The selected plan.
Hosting setup.
Backup schedule.
Backup retention period.
Third-party provider limits.
Payment status.
Technical condition of the website.
Type of incident.
Timing of the issue.
Whether the affected data existed in a recoverable backup.
Recovery support is included only where the selected plan covers it.
Some recovery work may require a separate quote.
17. Content Edits
Some plans include limited small website edits.
Where included, small edits may cover:
Replacing supplied text.
Correcting typos.
Updating contact details.
Updating opening hours.
Replacing an existing image.
Updating an existing link.
Updating an existing button.
Minor corrections to existing page content.
Small wording changes supplied by the Client.
Small edits must be within the edit allowance of the selected plan.
Unless separately agreed, included edits do not cover:
Major redesigns.
New pages.
New sections.
New functionality.
New integrations.
Custom software development.
Significant layout changes.
Large-scale content creation.
Copywriting from scratch.
SEO campaigns.
Paid advertising.
Brand strategy.
Legal, tax, medical, financial, or regulated-industry content review.
Unused edit time does not create an unlimited future entitlement unless the selected plan expressly says otherwise.
18. Priority Service
Where Priority & Reputation Care is selected, the Client receives the additional priority treatment stated in that plan.
This may include:
Priority handling for covered issues.
Proactive checks where included.
Manual review where included.
Greater attention for reputation-sensitive websites.
Priority treatment affects how covered issues are handled.
It does not create a guarantee that every issue can be resolved within a fixed period unless a specific service level is separately agreed.
Priority service does not convert excluded work into included work.
19. Communication and Expectations
MySiteCare aims to communicate clearly and directly.
Where practical, MySiteCare explains:
What is included.
What is excluded.
What caused the issue.
Whether the issue is covered.
What can be done next.
Whether separate work is required.
Whether a third-party provider is involved.
Whether payment or access is blocking the work.
Scope is defined before work begins.
Changes outside the agreed scope are discussed before additional paid work starts.
MySiteCare does not rely on vague assumptions or hidden expectations.
20. What MySiteCare Does Not Provide
Unless separately agreed in writing, MySiteCare does not provide or guarantee:
SEO rankings.
Search-engine placement.
Website traffic.
Leads.
Sales.
Conversions.
Revenue.
Paid-advertising results.
Marketing outcomes.
Unlimited edits.
Unlimited development.
Major redesigns.
Unlimited support.
Guaranteed uptime.
Guaranteed security.
Guaranteed hack prevention.
Enterprise cybersecurity.
Legal advice.
Tax advice.
Accounting advice.
Regulated-industry compliance advice.
Business success.
A functioning website can support a business, but website operation does not guarantee business performance.
21. No Implied Services
MySiteCare does not provide services based on assumptions.
If a service, feature, edit, fix, upgrade, integration, migration, handover, hosting obligation, backup obligation, support obligation, monitoring obligation, security obligation, response target, ownership transfer, or ongoing responsibility is not included in the selected plan, accepted order, quotation, invoice, written agreement, or full Terms, it is not part of the purchased service unless applicable law requires otherwise.
In simple terms:
If it is not in the agreed scope, it is not automatically included.
22. How This Page Connects With Other Pages
This page explains what MySiteCare does.
Other pages explain different parts of the relationship:
Plans and Pricing explain what each package includes and costs.
Clear Payment Terms explain payment, suspension, refunds, and service continuity.
Terms & Conditions explain the controlling legal agreement.
Privacy Notice explains personal data processing.
Cookie Notice explains cookies and similar technologies.
Business Registration explains public business identity.
These pages should be read together.
The accepted plan, order, quotation, invoice, written agreement, and full Terms determine the actual service scope.
23. Our Promise
We keep website responsibility simple.
One website.
One technical point of contact where responsibility is included.
Clearly defined scope.
No marketing guarantees.
No unlimited promises.
No hidden responsibility.
When an issue falls within the responsibility you purchased, you contact MySiteCare and we handle it.
When something falls outside that responsibility, we tell you clearly.
Final Summary
MySiteCare builds or takes over business websites where practical.
We provide hosting, maintenance, monitoring, covered fixes, backups, content edits, and priority care only where the selected plan includes them.
Maintenance is not the same as responsibility.
Responsibility means MySiteCare handles covered technical issues within the agreed scope.
We do not promise rankings, traffic, leads, sales, unlimited edits, unlimited development, perfect uptime, or absolute security.
Responsibility is defined, not assumed.
If something is covered, we handle it.
If something is outside the selected plan, it is not automatically included.
