What We Do at MySiteCare

Last updated: September 2026

Responsibility depends on the selected plan and accepted scope. Some responsibilities belong to MySiteCare, some remain with the Client, and some depend on third-party providers.

Short Version

What We Do at MySiteCare

MySiteCare builds, takes over, maintains, and manages business websites, with the level of technical responsibility defined by the selected plan.

This is primarily a website-responsibility service, not a marketing or growth service.

Website design and setup are included only where stated in the selected service or accepted Order.

Website Setup

Where included:

We build clean, professional business websites.

Existing websites may be taken over where technically suitable.

Websites are built with stability, maintainability, and reasonable security practices in mind.

Website ownership, access, and handover depend on the selected service and accepted scope.

One-time Website Ownership projects are handed over according to the agreed payment and handover terms.

Client-owned materials and pre-existing website rights remain with the Client.

MySiteCare-created ownership deliverables are transferred only under the applicable ownership terms.

Hosting

Where hosting is included:

MySiteCare arranges and manages the hosting environment used for the website.

Hosting is managed for stability and ongoing operation.

Hosting remains subject to the applicable plan, payment terms, grace periods, suspension rules, and termination rules.

If hosting is suspended or terminated, the website may become unavailable.

Maintenance and Updates

Depending on the selected plan, maintenance may include:

Core platform or system updates.

Supported theme, plugin, dependency, component, CMS, or framework updates where applicable.

Reasonable compatibility checks after relevant updates where included.

Preventive technical maintenance within the selected plan.

Regular backups where included.

Maintenance alone does not mean MySiteCare accepts responsibility for diagnosing and resolving every technical problem.

That responsibility exists only where the selected plan includes it.

Monitoring and Issue Handling

On plans that include monitoring and technical responsibility, MySiteCare may:

Monitor website uptime.

Monitor relevant system issues.

Investigate covered technical problems.

Handle covered update-related breakages.

Handle covered system failures.

Act as one technical point of contact for covered issues.

If something within our agreed responsibility breaks, and your plan covers it, we take care of it.

You do not need to diagnose the covered problem first.

You contact MySiteCare.

Security and Protection

Where included and technically applicable, MySiteCare may apply:

Reasonable website-level security hardening.

Relevant security and integrity checks.

Backups where included.

Recovery assistance for covered incidents.

Preventive measures intended to reduce common website risks.

No website can be guaranteed completely secure.

MySiteCare reduces and manages risk within the agreed scope. It does not guarantee that any website will be immune from hacking, malware, vulnerabilities, third-party outages, attacks, or other security incidents.

Additional security services are included only where expressly stated.

What We Do Not Provide

Unless separately agreed, MySiteCare does not provide:

SEO ranking guarantees.

Traffic or lead guarantees.

Paid advertising management.

Marketing results.

Major redesigns.

Unlimited edits or development.

New pages or features outside scope.

Business-result guarantees.

In Plain English

You choose how much responsibility MySiteCare takes.

Some plans cover only the basics.

Responsibility and Priority plans place covered technical problems with MySiteCare.

What we handle is defined.

What remains with you is defined.

Nothing extra is assumed.

In-Depth Version

What We Do at MySiteCare

MySiteCare provides different levels of website ownership, maintenance, hosting, monitoring, support, and technical responsibility depending on the selected service.

We build websites where required.

We take over existing websites where technically practical.

We provide ongoing hosting, maintenance, monitoring, issue handling, and limited edits where those services are included in the selected plan.

The exact scope always depends on the selected plan, accepted Order, quotation, invoice, Terms & Conditions, and any written agreement.

MySiteCare is not a marketing agency.

We do not sell or guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, conversions, revenue, sales, or other business outcomes.

1. Website Builds and Takeovers

MySiteCare may either:

Build a new business website.

Take over an existing website where it is technically suitable for takeover.

A takeover may require a technical review before responsibility can be accepted.

One-time Website Ownership projects are delivered according to the accepted scope.

For MySiteCare-created deliverables that are being purchased under Website Ownership, agreed ownership and final handover occur after the required payment has been received.

Existing Client-owned websites, domains, accounts, content, data, logos, and other pre-existing Client assets remain the Client's property.

A one-time website build does not include ongoing hosting, updates, backups, monitoring, support, edits, fixes, security management, or responsibility unless those services are separately purchased.

2. Hosting

Hosting is provided only where included in the selected plan or written agreement.

Where MySiteCare provides hosting:

MySiteCare arranges and manages the hosting environment used for the website.

Hosting is maintained as part of the active service.

Hosting remains subject to the applicable plan and payment terms.

Suspension or termination of hosting may cause the website to become unavailable.

Hosting may use MySiteCare-managed infrastructure, approved third-party infrastructure, or other suitable hosting arrangements depending on the website and selected service.

The use of third-party infrastructure or service providers does not change the scope of the Client's selected MySiteCare plan.

3. Maintenance and Updates

Maintenance is plan-dependent.

Where included, it may consist of:

Core platform or system updates.

Supported CMS, framework, dependency, component, theme, or plugin updates where applicable.

Regular backups where included.

Reasonable post-update checks where included.

Preventive technical maintenance intended to reduce avoidable failures.

Maintenance alone does not mean MySiteCare monitors the website continuously, investigates every failure, or assumes responsibility for every technical issue.

Those responsibilities exist only where the selected plan expressly includes them.

4. Monitoring

Where monitoring is included, MySiteCare monitors the covered website for uptime and relevant system issues.

Monitoring is intended to help identify covered technical problems.

It does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

It does not guarantee immediate detection of every possible issue.

It does not include monitoring of all third-party platforms, external services, security threats, or unrelated systems unless expressly stated.

5. Technical Issue Handling

Under plans that include website responsibility, MySiteCare acts as the Client's single technical point of contact for covered technical issues.

This may include investigating and fixing website breakages caused by covered updates or covered system failures.

The responsibility does not automatically extend to every possible cause of website failure.

Issues caused by matters outside the agreed scope may require separate work, Client action, or third-party action.

Examples may include:

Client-made changes.

Unsupported third-party systems.

External service outages.

Registrar or DNS issues outside MySiteCare's control.

Expired third-party licences.

Client-controlled account problems.

Unauthorised modifications.

Major new development.

Marketing or SEO problems.

Other excluded causes.

6. When Something Goes Wrong

On Responsibility and Priority plans, the Client does not need to troubleshoot a covered technical problem before contacting MySiteCare.

The process is simple:

The Client contacts MySiteCare.

MySiteCare investigates the issue.

MySiteCare determines whether it falls within the selected plan and accepted scope.

If it is covered, MySiteCare handles the technical work within scope.

If it is outside scope, MySiteCare explains what happened and what the next step is.

The purpose is not unlimited responsibility.

The purpose is clear responsibility.

7. Backups and Recovery Assistance

Regular backups are included only where the selected plan says backups are included.

Backups are a risk-reduction measure.

They do not guarantee that every version of every file, page, database entry, order, form submission, or item of data can always be recovered.

Backup retention, restoration, and post-termination handling are subject to the applicable service terms, hosting setup, provider limits, payment status, and data-processing terms.

Recovery assistance is included only where the selected plan or accepted Order says it is included.

Where included and technically applicable, MySiteCare may apply reasonable website-level security practices.

This may include:

Supported software updates.

Baseline security hardening.

Security or integrity checks where included.

Backup practices where included.

Response to covered technical issues within the selected plan.

Preventive measures intended to reduce common website risks.

Security-related work reduces risk.

It does not guarantee that the website will be completely secure, uninterrupted, immune from hacking, free from malware, free from vulnerabilities, or protected from every third-party security incident.

A separate security service, audit, incident-response service, or advanced protection package is included only where expressly agreed.

9. Content Edits

Some plans include a defined allowance for small website edits.

For example, the standard Responsibility Plan may include up to 30 minutes of small website edits per calendar month where stated in the plan.

Included small edits may include:

Replacing existing text.

Updating contact details.

Swapping an image.

Making a similarly limited change that does not materially alter the website structure.

Included edit time does not roll over unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Large changes, redesigns, new pages, integrations, new functionality, layout restructuring, new content production, and substantial changes are not included unless separately agreed.

10. Communication and Expectations

MySiteCare communicates in plain language and avoids unnecessary technical jargon.

Before work begins, we aim to make the scope, exclusions, costs, and responsibility boundaries clear.

If additional work falls outside the selected plan, we explain that before treating it as additional paid work.

We do not assume that something is included simply because it relates to the website.

11. Responsibility Allocation

Responsibility is assigned clearly.

The selected plan and accepted scope define what MySiteCare handles and what remains with the Client.

Some matters may be the responsibility of MySiteCare.

Some matters may remain the responsibility of the Client.

Some matters may depend on third-party providers, such as hosting providers, domain registrars, payment processors, plugin providers, API providers, email providers, or other external services.

For covered technical issues assigned to MySiteCare, we act as the Client's technical point of contact.

12. Scope Note

This page explains the types of website services MySiteCare can provide.

It does not mean every service is included in every plan.

Exact inclusions, exclusions, responsibility boundaries, ownership rights, hosting arrangements, edit allowances, response commitments, payment terms, and charges depend on the selected plan and accepted Order.

If this page conflicts with an accepted Order, plan terms, Clear Payment Terms, or applicable Terms & Conditions, the governing contract documents control, subject to applicable mandatory law.

13. Our Operating Principle

Responsibility should never be ambiguous.

Your plan defines what MySiteCare handles, what remains with you, and what happens when a technical issue occurs.

We do not promise unlimited support.

We do not promise outcomes outside our control.

We do not hide scope.

We do not blur responsibility.

We provide clearly defined website services with transparent boundaries and agreed pricing.
